Non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) is a type of cancer that originates in the lymphatic system, which is a part of the body's immune system. It is characterized by the abnormal growth and ac****ulation of lymphocytes, a type of white blood cell, in the lymph nodes and other lymphoid tissues.
There are various subtypes of NHL, each with different characteristics and behavior. Common subtypes include diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, follicular lymphoma, and mantle cell lymphoma.
