Cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL) is a type of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma that primarily affects the skin. It occurs when T-lymphocytes, a type of white blood cell, become cancerous and ac****ulate in the skin.
There are different subtypes of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma, with the most common being mycosis fungoides and Sezary syndrome. Mycosis fungoides typically presents as itchy, scaly patches or plaques on the skin, while Sezary syndrome involves widespread redness, itching, and thickening of the skin.
