#2-give yourself 15 minutes to feel those emotions then get up and watch a funny movie and laugh. Go for a walk call a close spiritual friend or put on some worship music and shift the atmosphere! Whatever you do, don't stay in your emotions because as the devotional reminded us on today; that on the other side of deep anxiety there is deep peace, on the other side of strong sorrow there is strong joy, and on the other side of overwhelming heartache there is overwhelming gra****ude! Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning (Psalm 30:5 NLT).Let's all take good care of ourselves emotionally on purpose!
#1-Good morning All. Maybe some of you are feeling emotional today, I want you to know that Jesus has ****ured me It's OK to feel like you do.Jesus was emotional too. He felt similar emotions; like sorrow, anger, exhaustion, comp****ion, and yes, there were times of joy too. The Bible study I read today said in the Bible, we get glimpses of Jesus where he allowed himself to feel emotions too. He modeled to us what it looks like to feel emotional and in doing so, he permitted us to acknowledge, express and to be in tune with our own feelings. So feel what you're feeling JUST DON'T STAY THERE!
