Renal cell cancer, also known as kidney cancer, is a type of cancer that originates in the cells of the kidney. It is the most common type of kidney cancer, accounting for around 90% of all cases.
Risk factors for renal cell cancer include smoking, obesity, high blood pressure, and certain genetic conditions. Men are also at a slightly higher risk than women.
