Cancer in adolescents refers to cancer that occurs in individuals between the ages of 15 to 19 years old. Although cancer is more common in older adults, it can still occur in adolescents, albeit at a lower rate. The most common types of cancer in this age group include leukemia, lymphoma, brain tumors, bone tumors, and soft tissue sarcomas.
