Brendan Gallagher calls out Tim Stutzle with accusation of faking injury Its embarrassing

Brendan Gallagher did not hold back his thoughts onTim Stutzle Tuesday night. The Canadiens forward ripped into the young Senators player after Tuesday's 6 Kendall Graveman Jersey -3 win for Ottawa, accusing Stutzle of lying on the ice too long and faking injuries. What are your thoughts on Brendan Gallaghers comments here? TSN (@TSN_Sports) "When I was 10 years old, our coach had a rule if you lay on the ice we didnt have trainers if the coach had to come on the ice and get you, youre too hurt to play. You had to sit for a minimum three shifts," Gallagher said."Hes a great player. Ive played against him for two, three years now. More than half the games weve played against him hes laid on the ice and hes right back out there next shift. "He lays on the ice. He acts like hes hurt. He sells the Mark Grace Jersey call. Hes on the ice that same power play. You know, theres kids watching. Were role models. If I was a teammate of his, Id tell him to smarten up. Its just not a good look. Very talented player, very good player. He needs to stop laying on the ice. Its embarra sing." The comment stems from a play betweenStutzle and Canadiens forward Nick Suzuki in the second period. Suzuki went to deliver a shoulder-to-shoulder hit onStutzle, but mi sed and instead hit him knee-on-knee. He was penalized two minutes of kneeing. Stutzle appeared to be hurt on the play, but eventually got up and was able to play on the ensuing power play. The Senators scored on the man advantage to break a 3-3 tie, holding onto that lead to claim the 6-3 win. The two later go into it with a minute to go on the game when a scrum broke out, resulting in Gallagher receiving a minor for roughing and a 10-minute misconduct. Tim Sttzle officially owns the Montreal Canadiens and Brendan Gallagher. Also, Gallagher is mighty lucky that Tkachuk wasn't on the ice. He would've absolutely FED him for going after Sttzle. Everyday Sens (@EverydaySens) Does Tim Stutzle have a history of diving? Stutzle has gained a reputation for being really good at drawing penalties whether they've been legitimate calls or not. Since the German winger entered the league last season, he has drawn the second-most penalties in the league with 62, sitting Addison Russell Jersey only behind Connor McDavid in that category. He doesn't take a ton either, which has resulted inStutzle owning thesecond-highest penalty differential over the last two seasons. Stutzle is listed at 6-foot, 190 pounds so he's not tiny, but still should be able to stay on his feet. He's not exactly known to be strong on his skates, and he uses that to his advantage to draw infractions. When do the Canadiens and Senators Kerry Wood Jersey play again this season? That's not the last we'll see of the two Canadian clubs. The two are scheduled to play each other one more time before the end of the season on Saturday, April 23 in Ottawa. The two sides already have history considering they both play in the Atlantic Division. It's safe to say that Gallagher's words after this game will be remembered in the Senators' locker room. By the time that Saturday night matchup rolls around, both teams should be officially eliminated from the postseason and will just be playing for pride and stats. The Canadiens have already been eliminated from the postseason while the Senators' tragic number is at 1, so they will likely be out of the playoff race by the end of this week. It will be interesting to see how that April 23 contest plays out. Former NHLer Matthew Barnaby noted how both sides deserved to do/say what they did and that it will make for Tony Kemp Jersey some rivalry between the two teams. Stutzle has every right to lay on ice after taking knee on knee. Try and draw penalties as well. Gallagher has every right to criticize him. Plays hard every shift. Makes for Rivalry. Love it Matthew Barnaby (@MattBarnaby3636) While it may be a "meaningle s" game in terms of the standings, expect the tension and emotion to be high at the Canadian Tire Centre that Saturday night.
