Uterine sarcoma is a type of cancer that develops in the cells of the uterus. It is a rare form of cancer, accounting for less than 5% of all uterine cancers.

There are different types of uterine sarcoma, including leiomyosarcoma, endometrial stromal sarcoma, and undifferentiated sarcoma. Leiomyosarcoma is the most common subtype, arising from the smooth muscle cells in the uterus.
